ABOUT US
In 2025, Cue Studios started with me recognizing a need for more queerness in mainstream media. I put up posters all over New York City to cast our first video, hoping we could create something that would reach our community. A year later, we’ve grown into a community of 40K+ and reached over 4 million views.
It all started with a simple idea: create on-screen representation for our community. A community that deserves entertainment with us at the center. What we’ve built so far has only reinforced how important that is. Seeing yourself on screen can validate your experiences, expand what you believe is possible, and remind you that your story has a place in the world. We want to laugh, connect, have conversations, and experience stories that feel authentic to who we are.
The world will always need new and emerging stories. Our stories shape culture and challenge the molds society has created for what life is supposed to look like. Too often, when a story doesn’t fit neatly into those molds, it gets left behind.
Now more than ever, it’s time for our stories to be told. And if I’ve learned anything from building Cue, it’s that our community is ready.
We shouldn’t have to search for ourselves on screen.
That’s why we’re building a home for queer entertainment.
Sincerely,
Yani
